Clearance - Final Overload (Devil's Kingdom)

Travels and reflections through the (choppy and calming) waves of being

Recorded in July and August, this is a track which will not be released anywhere else. 2 of the tracks from these summer sessions were released on the ‘Overload Reality’ c46 (which is sold out) and 1 I threw up on Nina. The focus for jamming this summer was on long, extended pieces: live tracings of the outer and inner, the banally familiar and the uncanny existing in the same space (and maybe not being so different), with a multiplicity of linkages to ensure the same pathways are never traversed. The elucidation of memory will always be rendered as an effervescent mirror of illusions constantly undergoing recreation for the ego’s affirmation. Another aspect here was to both create the sounds at hand yet also remove the self/ego from them and sit as a witness as they do what they want, forming and deforming at will: a still photo with an ever changing, living and breathing terrain. The self senses what it chooses to and the representation forms outside of one’s conception - the mediation between is what we witness and enter into. To reflect inside of the storm takes one beyond time/space/matter and begets the possibility of discerning shades of truth and being within the illusion of the real. Please listen and enjoy!
